Motion to Ensure Equity in Member Voting Power

WHEREAS, it is both equitable and critical to the governance of the ARRL that all members have similar voting power;

THEREFOR, it is resolved that the number of members entitled to vote in each Division shall be between 80% and 120% of the number in an average sized division. This rule shall become effective at the beginning of 2027.

The President shall appoint a committee to implement this rule, including preparation of appropriate motions for changes and amendments to the current rules, by-laws, and procedures, with recommendation to be made to the Board at the July 2024 meeting.

Cost: negligible in the planning stage. Ultimate costs to depend on the proposed implementation,
